Join artist Nicola Hensel for a unique opportunity to explore Koorangang ‘Ash’ Island through an artist’s eyes. Bring your preferred drawing or painting materials. Drawing boards provided. Suitable for experienced artists, students and those keen to learn.

Nicola Hensel is a Newcastle artist. Her art practice is based on closely observed, executed and seasonally inspired drawing. She has had 11 solo exhibitions. Her work is represented in private, regional and national gallery collections.

Directions:
From Newcastle head towards Hexham on the Pacific Hwy. Turn right onto Ash Island Bridge (narrow cement bridge) off Pacific Hwy, just before McDonald’s Hexham.
