Join us for the opening weekend events and hear from some of Australia’s most adventurous contemporary artists, researchers and creative technologists. 

4PM SATURDAY 3 FEBRUARY - PANEL DISCUSSION
Experimenta Artistic Director and Exhibitions Curator Jonathan Parsons leads a panel discussion with  presenting artists Anderw Styan, Gail Priest, Michele Barker, Anna Munster and Robert Andrew exploring the playful and challenging artworks presented at The Lock-Up.

5.30PM SATURDAY 3 FEBURARY – OPENING DRINKS
Join us for the opening of Experimenta Make Sense: International Triennial of Media Art, experience the exhibition, meet with Experimenta staff and participating artists.

10AM – 4PM SATURDAY 3 FEBRUARY & 11AM – 3PM SUNDAY 4 FEBRUARY DRAWING ON COMPLEXITY DROP IN SESSIONS
Join in on this collaborative artwork developed by artist Briony Barr where participants follow a series of rule-based pattern-making spanning across the floor of The Yard. 

11AM – 2PM SATURDAY 3 FEBRUARY & SUNDAY 4 FEBRUARY THE LANGUAGE OF LISTENING WITH GAIL PRIEST 
In a series of one-on-one interviews, Experimenta artist Gail Priest invites audience members to take part in one-on-one her artwork, Sonolexic, and take part in a broader experience of listening in a noise filled world.
